​Be Strong and Courageous

The Lord spoke to me very clearly through the book of Joshua in 2018. “I’m moving you. I’m leading you to places where My promises reside. I will guide you and lead your steps. You will have favour wherever you go and I will be with you every step of the way. Be strong and courageous.” He said be strong a courageous a couple of times. I think that was because He knew challenges would come with it and He was preparing me. 

Fast forward 3 years. God has been faithful. He led us to partner with Kingdom Foundations and start their first Radical Transformation 4 House of Healing. He truly did lead and guide every step of the way and His favour went before us and continues to lead us. The journey up to this point has been such a joy and I love to share the testimony of His faithfulness through it. (Contact me and we can talk if you want to hear the full story.)

We continue to equip and bring the Father’s healing through teaching and coaching and we have prayer teams that meet a couple of times a week but now the Lord is asking us to take a leap of faith with Him. He is calling us to also help children. Children who have known abuse, neglect and abandonment by the very people who should have loved them. He wants us to provide loving, Christian homes where they’ll have a chance to live out God’s plan for their lives. Where they will have loving House Parents who will model Godly principals and a Godly lifestyle. 

“Lord, this is exceedingly abundantly more than that what I thought we could possibly do. This seems scary. This seems difficult and there seems to be road blocks in our way.”  Again, the Lord brought me back to Joshua 1 this morning. 

Vs 1”so now arise, cross this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them, to the sons of Israel. Every place on which the sole of your foot steps, I have given it to you, just as I spoke to Moses.” 

“Lord, this is Your plan that You have called us to. I can trust that You have prepared this for us and where You have called us to You will give to us.” 

Vs 5 “No one will be able to oppose you all the days of your life. Just as I have been with Moses, I will be with you; I will not desert you nor abandon you.” 

“Lord, I do not have to fear government regulations and restrictions. Your government trumps our natural government. We will be able to share You and Your ways with these kids because You are the only one that brings full healing and transformation for these kids so that they can walk in the destiny You have prepared for them before they were even conceived.” 

Vs 6 “Be strong and courageous, for you shall give this people possession of the land which I swore to their fathers to give them. Vs 7 Only be strong and very courageous; be careful to do according to all the Law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, so that you may achieve success wherever you go.”

“I will Lord. I will be strong and courageous. I will remember what you have said to me and I will walk in that direction taking 1 step at a time. I will not turn to the left or the right. You have shown me the way and I will walk in it so that I may achieve success wherever  I go. You have done it before and You will do it again.  Thank You for the reminder Lord.” 

Has the Lord spoken to your heart about a direction that He is guiding you in? Is the enemy trying to stop you with fear and worry. God’s Promises are for you too! I encourage you to take 1 step at a time. He will lead you on the straight path as you keep your ears and eyes focused on Him.
